Our Fine Arts Program
Our fine arts program provides opportunities for students to glorify God by developing their artistic and musical gifts through creative discovery. Students who participate in fine arts programs develop stronger critical thinking skills which result in more success in core classes. They learn how to appreciate God's creation and express their emotions effectively with self-confidence.
Participation in Fine Arts
Elementary and middle school students participate in visual art and musical instruction weekly. High school students choose visual art or choral music as their daily elective. Students in grades one through 12 participate in the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools’ (SCACS) annual fine arts competition which includes creative and academic categories.
Individual Private Lessons
For students who want to pursue their musical gifts, VCS has several teachers who offer private piano and vocal lessons. Contact the school office to inquire.
