About Us
Established by Victory Baptist Church in the fall of 1978, Victory Christian School is a private, non-profit Christian school that partners with parents in the Christian education of their youth. We offer a Biblical education for children K-4 through 12th grade, with an average teacher-to-student ratio of 1:13. The school is located on the campus of Victory Baptist Church and is equipped with an elementary wing, a secondary wing, spacious classrooms, a computer lab, science lab, library, music room, cafeteria, and gymnasium.
What We Believe
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. We believe that the Authorized Version - King James Bible is the preserved, infallible Word of God for the English speaking people.

The Godhead
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost; and that these three are one God.

The Person And Work of the Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, came into the world that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy, and become the Redeemer of a lost world. To this end, He was born of the Virgin Mary, received a human body and a sinless human nature without ceasing to be God.

We believe that, in infinite love for the lost, He voluntarily accepted His Father’s will and became the divinely provided sacrificial Lamb and took away the sins of the world.

We believe He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He had lived and died and that His resurrected body is the pattern of the body which ultimately will be given to all believers.

We believe that on departing earth, He was accepted by His Father and that His acceptance is a final assurance to us that His redeeming work was perfectly accomplished.

We believe that He became head over all things to the church, which is His body, and in this ministry He does not cease to intercede and to be an advocate for the saved.

The Holy Ghost
We believe that the Holy Ghost, the Third Person of the Trinity, dwells in every believer immediately upon placing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that God provides, through the Holy Ghost, power to live the Christian life.

We believe that every believer receives grace from God in the form of a spiritual gift, which enables him to function as a member of the body of Christ.

Salvation
We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again spiritually, and that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith and acceptance of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God at Calvary. We believe, also, that our redemption has been accomplished by the grace of God, an unmerited gift, given in love by God and not the result of any human works.

We believe that the message of our Lord Jesus Christ to those whom He has saved is to make Christ known to the whole world and that this is the purpose of the church through the individuals within it.

We believe that local churches, such as Victory Baptist Church, gather together for practical instruction in the scriptures, for fellowship with God and with other believers, and for corporate witness to the unsaved world. Our common spiritual goal is to be like Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission.

The Rapture And The Second Coming Of Christ
We believe that a future period of great tribulation on the earth will be climaxed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth as He went in person in the clouds with power and great glory to establish His millennial kingdom. But prior to this tribulation, we believe there will be the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in the air to receive to Himself into Heaven both His own who are alive and remain until His coming and also all who have died in Jesus Christ.

Sin and Salvation
We believe all men were born with an inherited sin nature received from our common ancestor, Adam. We believe that because of his nature, man is a sinner by choice, and he is totally incapable of reforming himself or ceasing from his sin by his own power. We believe the only hope of deliverance for man is a total change of mind concerning his sinful condition and inability to change it, and a turning to Jesus Christ as the only Saviour. We believe that only through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ on the cross can a man be eternally delivered from his sin. We believe that all those who reject Jesus Christ as their Saviour are already condemned to an eternity in the lake of fire.

Responsibility Of Believers
We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit, separating themselves from worldly practices and witnessing by life and by word the truths of the Holy Scripture.

We believe that all believers will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ and rewarded based on their faithful obedience to Him in this life.

Why Victory Christian School?
We provide students with a uniquely Biblical environment where they are free to express their Christian faith. Students are taught the word of God daily through the practical application of Biblical principles in academics, age-appropriate Bible classes, and weekly chapel meetings. VCS is a ministry of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, SC. Victory is a healthy, thriving church that is engaged in Gospel ministry throughout South Carolina and around the world. Our school benefits greatly from the loving, generous church family at Victory. While VCS has a home church, we partner with Christian families from churches from all over the South Carolina region.
Godly Mentors & Christian Influences
Our students interact with their teachers in ways that sharpen their confidence, strengthen their faith, and build important relational skills. VCS faculty members seek to complement the efforts of Christian parents to have a positive, Christ-like influence on all our students.
Athletics & The Arts
Opportunities for sports volleyball, and boys and girls basketball. Students at every grade level are given musical instruction, and Secondary students have the opportunity to participate in choral, speech, and art classes that compete in fine arts competitions. Every year, our student body presents both a Christmas Concert and a Spring Concert.
Alternative Electives
We provide electives such as various technology classes, leadership class, speech, and life skills. Each class serves to sharpen the students’ abilities to lead and communicate effectively in society. Our elective offerings are continually being developed and improved.
Accreditation & Memberships
Over 40 years of alumni are successful in various career fields. VCS is a candidate for accreditation with American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). VCS is also a member of the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS).
